Last week was an unforgettable whirlwind as I had the honour of attending the Ausmumpreneur Conference and Awards. This event turned out to be a pivotal moment not just for our brand, but for my own growth as well.

 

Let me dive right into the highlight of the event – our shoes, especially those innovative colour-changing shoes we call our Chameleon Collection that hold a special place in our hearts, won the Silver prize in the prestigious Product Innovation category. It's an accomplishment that I'm still finding a bit surreal, but it speaks volumes about the dedication and creativity we pour into our products.

 

However, this conference wasn't just about accolades and recognition. It was a space where incredible women entrepreneurs came together to share their journeys – the highs, the lows, and the lessons learned along the way. Being part of this dynamic community, hearing stories of resilience, and connecting with like-minded individuals was truly inspiring.

 

What struck me most was the genuine sense of unity among us. Despite the diversity in our businesses and experiences, there was an undeniable thread that connected us all – the unyielding spirit of turning dreams into reality. It was a refreshing mix of stepping out of my comfort zone while feeling completely at ease in the company of these amazing women.

 

But here's a personal highlight that I can't help but share with a big smile – meeting Tiff Hall - what an amazingly inspirational, motivated and kind woman Tiff is. To top it off, her daughter is now a proud owner of a couple of pairs of BigToes shoes and by all accounts Mum and daughter Vada both are loving our shoes! It's moments like these that fuel our passion to bring innovation and joy to people's lives.

 

Reflecting on the conference, it's clear that entrepreneurship isn't just about the products we create; it's about the relationships we build, the growth we embrace, and the impact we make.
